We simply want to introduce Russian independent non-commercial portal

About leos in Russia and events all over the world.
Initially we thought to make this site personal - about concrete leo Eremey iz
poselka Sokol. But due to lack of information in Russia about leo-life all
over the world and many Russians do not know English ( they can not enter foreign web-sites and get proper information ) we decided to extend portal - everything about leo in Russia and abroad.
We created it not in contrast to official Russian leo web-site, which does
not work properly, but to expand knowledge and information.
One year passed since we announced about opening this site.
What have been done for one year (though practically one month in April portal
did not work due to hacker's attack)?
- 130 registered users - more from abroad than from Russia
- 9....... straight site visits (we think that it is good) plus Russian
users who mainly enter the site from Russian Forum. 30-40 visitors now per day
(when we start - there were 5-15 people only)
Record of visits - 203 people one day - was after we first published Leonberg
2009 Club show results with photos and comments.
- many users noted unusual design, especially the morphing of a Leo into a
Lion and other's similar pictures in left Eremey's column
- inputted Russian database (Russian version and European one ) - separate
thanks to Wilma Kroon
- many of users (especially based on our "Guest book" ) noted, that we not only
input bare photos, but each topics try to make creative and alike from the
others, using very actively photo shop for decoration
- we exchanged links with many foreign kennels
- we announced Photo-contest "The Funniest leonberger photo" and many our
foreign friends and others whom we do not know have participated already.
So those who missed or did not register yet - have chance to do it!

- thanks to portal - we attracted a lot of new people to Russian Forum about leos
- our portal aimed not only to one concrete our dog, but to tell about as much
events all over the world as possible.

translate them into English.
Our nearest plans - topics about working leos (agility, water rescue, carting,
therapy etc), how to get to Moscow and from Moscow to Europe ( routes, roads,
time, places of interest), Why we decided to buy leonberger (stories of owners),
of course a lot of new shows etc
